We are pleased to invite you to the 8th ESST/VDZ Conference

The conference will be organized as a joint meeting of European Society for Sugar Technology (ESST) and Verein Deutscher Zuckertechniker (VDZ) in the Hofburg in Vienna, Austria.

It will be the 8th pan-European conference for sugar technology bringing together sugar technologists from all European sugar producing countries. It encompasses a large exhibition next to the conference hall.

We will have presentations and posters in four sessions under the main themes:

• Climate change and beet availability and quality
• Challenges in decarbonization of sugar production
• Digitization of sugar production
• Sugar technology knowledge transfer to new generations – challenges and good practices

and

• General Sugar Technology and Sugar Quality Assurance
